Wrong IP Location
Saas Alerts relays on IP addresses to determine users' location. There is no geo-database of IP address locations that is 100% accurate.
Sometimes, when changes are made to internet infrastructure, users might find themselves being allocated new IP addresses similar to those that have been used in other geographical areas. Until the geolocation ip provider catches up with this new allocation, this can result in them giving out a location that is different from your geographical location.
The bottom line is that geolocation by IP address is not 100% reliable or accurate and sometimes it needs time for it to be updated by the ISP.
IP Geolocation is about 60 - 80% accurate and can vary widely between geolocation providers. The more granular (down to states and cities) a whitelist entry, the more the accuracy will decrease. This variance is why we suggest whitelisting mainly by country as this has the highest accuracy possibility for geolocation data.
The highest accuracy that can be achieved is using IP addresses or IP ranges.

No Location Information
In some rare cases, there is no location information showing. This happens when our Geolocation service provider is unable to determine the city with a sufficient level of accuracy at the specific moment and it will need more time to update the data.
