Google File Share Events

 

On our File Share report for Google Workspace you will find terms like Document Visibility and User Access.

 

Change Document Visibility means you have shared with someone who has viewer permissions.

Change User Access means you have shared with someone who is editor. A commenter will also trigger the Change User Access since the comment will be inside the document.

• If you select anyone with a link, that will generate a file share event external (File Share Event - External)
• Restricted or Anyone in this group with the link can view will generate a file share event internal (File Share Event - Internal)
