Does GDAP affect making a SaaS Alerts connection with Microsoft?

SaaS Alerts API connections with Microsoft require full Global Admin access to the tenant. In this case  GDAP associated accounts are not suggested to use for making SaaS Alerts API connections as any other organizations this user has access to will incorrectly import into the organization being connected. A unique local-global admin per tenant is the best option for making API connections.
