Requiring a credit card to sign up as a Partner keeps administrative costs lower, which allows us to keep product prices as low as possible for the MSP community. If we don’t collect a credit card upfront, then MSPs convert from their trial to an agreement without any payment method. Then we are chasing people down to enter a payment method. This takes time/money and in several cases MSPs used our software for free for several months, promising to pay, but actually never paying. This is a double whammy for us because we spent the time and effort to collect payment and also lost the money it takes us to deliver the service. So this is why we have implemented this process, which has been very effective. In nearly 3 years, over 1,800 MSPs have tried the platform and less than 10 MSPs have declined to trial SaaS Alerts because of this policy.
SaaS Alerts now has over 900 MSP partners and based on positive Partner feedback, multiple case studies and 76 Channel Program reviews we have a solid reputation in the channel. We’re definitely not trying to rip people off on trials, just trying to keep our administrative costs as low as possible so we can deliver the best SaaS security platform for the most competitive price possible.
