These products are designed to manage and secure user access to technology and applications, making it a crucial tool for businesses in the modern digital landscape.

Before getting started

What SaaS Alerts requires:

Client Domain in the format of https://yourdomain.okta.com

Okta: requires admin roles

Connecting Okta to SaaS Alerts

1. Log into the Admin area (ss1)
2. Go to Applications/Applications
3. Create App Integration (ss2)
4. Select OIDC - OpenID Connect (ss3)
5. Select Web Application (ss4)
6. Name the application, select Authorization Code and Refresh Token, leave everything else as default (ss5)
7. Add Sign-in redirect URIs: 

https://saas-alerts-qa.appspot.com/products/oauth2/redirect
https://manage.saasalerts.com/products/oauth2/redirect 

8. Assignments: Select Skip group assignment for now

9. Save
10. Confirm immediate access with Federation Broker Mode is disabled
    
11. Assign people to Okta app

Select assign button next to desired user

Click Save and Go Back

Click Done

12. Add Scopes
    1. okta.logs.read
    2. okta.users.read
       
       

13. After saving, note the Client ID and Client Secret
    

Monitored Events

NOTE: the following list of events for the initial release;

1. IAM Event - Authentication Success
2. IAM Event - Authentication Failure
3. IAM Event - Oauth Access Used for Foreign Application
4. IAM Event - User Logged Out
5. IAM Event - New User Added
6. IAM Event - Password Reset
