Setup Instructions for Datto EDR

1. Log into Datto EDR as an admin user.
2. Copy the URL from your address bar and store it somewhere. For instance: yourcompany.infocyte.com
3. Click on your user at the top right.
4. Choose Admin.
5. Click on Users & Tokens.
6. Click on API Tokens.                                                                                                                                                       
7. Click on Create new Token.
8. In the Token Description give the token a name. We suggest “SaaS Alerts”.
9. Copy the token that was generated. Store this someplace safe.
10. From within SaaS Alerts, choose to add a new application to the proper organization - likely the Organization for your MSP.
11. Choose to connect Datto EDR.
12. Fill in the URL, the API Token and click Finish.

Mapping:

Important: If organizations are configured within "Groups or Locations" in Datto EDR, partners will only observe the organizations listed for mapping within SaaS Alerts as the "Default RMM Org." It is advisable for MSP partners to reorganize their instances in accordance with Datto EDR best practices by assigning a distinct organization for each customer.

3. Endpoint Device - Monitoring info
4. Endpoint Device - Monitoring event
