Explanation of why three separate alerts are generated when a Respond rule triggers:
- One to let you know the rule was triggered - SaaS Alerts Respond - Rule Triggered
- One to let you know of the Approval (or not) - Rule Triggered - Automatic Approval
- And one to let you know if remediation has been completed successfully or not - Rule Triggered - Remediation Completed
Each of these alerts contains important information as to the status of the Respond rule's actions.
Additionally if you employ a PSA:
- The first alert will open a ticket in the Partner PSA System
- The second alert should be appended to the ticket as an additional comment
- The third alert should be appended to the ticket as an additional comment
SaaS Alerts has structured the alerts in this way to assist partners who wish to automate their PSA systems and automatically close PSA tickets upon confirmation that the remediation has completed.
