Setup instructions for IT Glue

If you are currently utilizing the IP Access Control restrictions in IT Glue, please make sure to include these IP addresses:

• 35.192.223.4
• 35.224.156.102

This step by step guide will show you how to integrate the IT Glue application with SaaS Alerts.

     1. Login to SaaS Alerts and click on the “Menu” button on the top left corner of the screen.

     2. Head over to the “Organizations” tab.

     3. Click on the edit/pencil icon for your Customer.

 

 

   

     4. Click on the "Add Applications" button to add the IT Glue app.

 

 

 

     5. Select “MSP Onboarding” and click continue.

 Note: The IT Glue integration is meant to be added to the SaaS Alert Partner's Customer account only.  

 

 

 

     6. Click on the IT Glue logo.

 

     

     7. A window will open if an IT Glue connection exist. If you want to proceed click on continue.

Warning:  If there is an existing IT Glue instance and you decide to add the same connection to multiple customers it will result in duplicate events and alerts.   

 

 

 

     8. Enter your IT Glue API Key. The access token/API Key is located in your IT Glue portal under My Account> Account>API keys

     9. Select the IT Glue endpoint would you like to connect

Pro Tip: We suggest creating a new custom API key in the IT Glue portal. Please confirm the correct IT Glue key was copied. A proper API key starts with ITG. and will not have asterisks in it.

 

Now the IT Glue application has been integrated successfully. 

 

Click on the "Back to Customers" button. 

 

You should see the number of total users populated for your customer in the "Organizations" screen.
