Google Workspace error This App is Blocked

The "This app is blocked" message appears when connecting Google Workspace.

Resolution:

Follow the instructions in the Setup instructions for Google Workspace KB

This message occurs related to a new security step Google has implemented to ensure only Administrator approved API connections are allowed.
