Occasionally when connecting to a service an orange error message may appear "Cannot connect application" and there will be a black exclamation marker by the service that has failed to connect.
Resolution of issue
We have confirmed that browser extensions, A/V settings, VPNs, and certain network proxy applications such as Todyl, AVG, Bitdefender applications can cause this error. The simplest way to resolve this issue is to use incognito/private browser mode to sign into SaaS alerts and add the customer.
Alternatively, please disable extensions (anything like an Adblock or Proxy related service) that interfere with cookies or location for the current session. For best results we suggest using a new Google Chrome incognito session for optimal results.
This step will prevent the application error issue in most instances.
If the error persists a culprit is most likely an Antivirus software (Bitdefender, Todyl, AVG, etc). Here is a list of domains to whitelist within the app to allow SaaS Alerts to function correctly:
"saasalerts.com"
"firebaseapp.com"
"cloudfunctions.net"
"saasalerts.zendesk.com/hc/en-us"
"manage.saasalerts.com"
"firestore.googleapis.com"
"reports.saasalerts.com"
"googleapis.com"
